SNBSC is an independent organization, enacted by provincial legislation that provides regional services to municipalities and the rural district. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of the mayors of all the municipalities within the region and a representative of the rural district.
We provide solid waste services, land-use planning, development and building inspection services, regional economic development, regional tourism promotion, recreation cost-sharing services, community development including public transportation planning and more.
The Southwest New Brunswick region includes the Village of McAdam, Municipal District of St Stephen, Rural Community of Campobello, Town of Saint Andrews, Rural Community of Eastern Charlotte, Rural Community of Fundy Shores, Village of Grand Manan and Rural District 10.

Notice Board
The SNBSC Annual General Meeting will be held Thursday, April 25 at our Lawrence Station Solid Waste Facility at 5749 Route 3. The April regular Board meeting will commence at 5:30pm, with the AGM to follow directly after (6:30pm).
This meeting will be available live on Youtube.
Please be aware of upcoming changes to curbside recycling collection services. As of May 1, 2024, our recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials.
